Apparently they are. If you go to the thread, there’s a heartwarming comment from Rte66, referring to her as OP. It is funny, but it also brought tears to my eyes.
When the Anna Nicole Miami trial was in session, and we were all were glued to out TV sets, Global, or OP, asked us to keep her informed online since her son had given up TV for lent. She would sneak it on when he was asleep. That made me realize the sacrifice that this woman made for her quadriplegic son. She and I shared stories of bad backs and backaches. She was his caregiver, and she had to lift him. What a saint!

I read Global 2010’s posts here, but did not get the connection at all! When posting as oceanperch, she referred often to King Vanity. I remember that she mentioned her son on this thread, but not by name.
Her devotion to her child would serve as a good example for parents and a reminder for thanks giving.
