Larry Birkhead Obtains Dannielynn’s Passport; Will Leave For U.S. Tomorrow

NASSAU, Bahamas (April 30, 2007) — Access Hollywood has learned exclusively that Larry Birkhead has finally obtained Dannielynn’s passport and will leave the Bahamas for the U.S. tomorrow.

Dannielynn: Headed for the U.S.

Now that LARRY BIRKHEAD has completed the process of having his daughter DANNIELYNN’s birth certificate changed to show that he is legally and biologically her father, will he be taking the baby girl to the United States today?

“The Insider” has learned that Larry will be leaving the Bahamas on Tuesday. Just this morning Larry showed “The Insider” little Dannielynn’s passport and revealed he is making final preparations to take his daughter home to Louisville, KY.

“I’m just getting ready to be a dad,” he said, “officially on my own soil.”

Last Friday, the appeal ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s mother, VIRGIE ARTHUR, had filed to prevent Anna’s baby from being removed from the jurisdiction of the Bahamas was denied.

The judge said he was “a little perplexed” as to “why this order is in front of us.” The judge added that he felt the order was weak before denying the appeal. Virgie was then ordered to pay court costs of $3,000, which included Larry’s fees.

This was an “expensive day for her,” Larry told “The Insider.” “I feel like I just got a divorce from her, and I didn’t even know we had a baby together.”
Virgie was seeking to keep the little girl in the Bahamas until the next custody hearing in June, but the courts will allow Dannielynn to travel with her father.

Last Wednesday, Larry, Anna’s partner, HOWARD K. STERN, and Virgie were in the courtroom as Larry presented Dannielynn’s travel plans.

We caught up with Larry as he was leaving the courtroom that afternoon, and he told us that it was a happy day in court. He reported that Dannielynn smiles at him, he feeds her all the time, and she is now starting to recognize him.

Howard also talked to us outside the court, telling us that Larry and Dannielynn are bonding and doing well and that Larry is doing a great job.
