I appreciate your position, however, if HK is, indeed, posturing himself as the executor of both 'daniels' and 'ans' wills, then it follows that he Does, 'have rights' in his own mind at least

That’s probably true, to an extent. If, and it’s a big if, Howard remains an executor of the estate, he’d have to do what’s best for DL’s interests and not his own. It’s my understanding, and anyone who knows more please correct me if wrong, that Larry, as DL’s dad, could petition/file the probate court for a change of executor if he deems it necessary?
