Trying to get guardianship of DL in order to pursue a wrongful death suit is not the right course of action, in my opinion. It steps on LB’s rights as a father and does not put the emphasis on “jail time” for HKS.

Exactly. THIS Is not the time to position yourself for wrongful death suits. And it would seem she would have the right to sue for wrongful death even without guardianship of Dannilynn.

"And it would seem she would have the right to sue for wrongful death even without guardianship of Dannilynn." I am not clear on this after looking at Florida law on wrongful death suits. My thoughts are this ... If it is not clear that she is the rightful peson to do this without some type of guardianship, why even muddy the water further? Go for what can make a difference! Keep a close eye on the inquest, make sure the witness list is complete, solidify Bahamian political and legal connections that will assure the inquest goes forward and not thrown to the wayside. There is a lot she can do to put the pressure on HKS!

I truly believe if she went this route instead of seeking guardianship of DL that she could put HKS in jail and secure a loving relationhip with DL and LB.
