As a trustee/guardian of Dannielyn’s “money” she will not be spending any money with her “grubby fingers” - but overseeing the spending by Larry. Hopefully, by sticking to her guns, Virgie will prevent Howard’s control of Larry, Dannielynn and/or her “money”.
She is probably in high anxiety about DL being in the same house as Howard - the Court has not seen fit to remove her. The paternity proof has not helped move things along YET. During all this time, remember, Howard WAS NAMED AS FATHER ON THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE - not Virgie’s fault.

I disagree. Her motive is greed, it is becoming more and more obvious.

Apparently she isn’t too concerned, she is stalling it out. If she was so concerned about paternity not ‘help move things along’, she would back up and be a Grandmother, not try to become her mother.
As time is going on, I am starting to wonder about her role in Daniel’s upbringing as an infant. Did she barge in on his parenting as she is trying to do with Dannielynn and ANS was too weak to stop her? Of course she was more than willing let her mother do the hard work, no doubt. But if she was this damn pushy about it...
By the way, I find it ironic that the place that ANS used to keep her child’s father from his baby is the very place that places such importance on her mother getting ‘rights’ to her daughter.
