“Stern is the refusing to allow Virgie any legal standing to get in his way and custody/guardianship/legal anything will jeopardize his plans.”

Sorry, but if my daughter had a companion that she chose to make the executor of her estate, I would not fight it.
What right does Virgie have to Anna’s estate or custody/guardianship of the baby? If my daughter died, I would want visitation rights to her child, but never would I feel that I deserve any money that belonged to her or her child. HKS was Anna’s choice, whether it was a good choice or bad choice for Anna. That was Anna’s choice.

Yes, I found it despicable that HKS was an enabler when it came to drugs. And I disapproved of him being on the birth certificate. However, once Larry’s DNA was proven that he was the father and HKS did not fight him, I realized that throughout all this, HKS was indeed following Anna’s wishes. If she didn’t want her mom to have any more of her money, then Anna’s wishes should be carried through.

I realize we all have a difference of opinion, but that’s mine....that Virgie has no claim to anything of Anna’s, whether it’s money or Dannielynn.

I'm pretty much in line with your thinking. Somehow like it or not, I think ANS would be turning over in her grave if her mother was put in charge of her estate. They *may* have been close at one time, but right or wrong they were not the last ten or so years of her life.

I believe the *mommie dearest* tape was at ANS lowest point mentally, and a combo of drugs and PMS probably added to that tape, but she wrote her will, bad as it was, in 2001 and she didn't name her mother in that will.

OK. Then let's make the straw man argument fair. Would you fight it if the SAID companion had been the last known person to have been in the same room with your daughter, and your grandson, who both had passed away in the last 6 months?

You seem to feel I have an opinion as to who is right here. Quite frankly, I have said on numerous occassions that I don't believe any of them and that the truth lies somewhere in the middle. The only innocent one is the baby, of course, and I make my analysis under the law in what I feel would be in her best interest.

It doesn't matter what WE feel the will says or if it's valid. The law again has to decide that. If the courts decide it's valid, Stern will be executor of that estate. Sorry to tell you this, but he apparently must feel it's going intestate according to his own actions.

If it goes intestate, Dannielynn inherits the estate. Stern wants SEPARATE administration of the estate; an agreement he has asked of Birkhead. Given his track record, we can expect to see, at the very least, a continuance of the fight in the Marshall matter. If that happens, it will be costly and could deplete the estate. If Dannielynn loses in the Marshall matter, she loses the money expended to litigate that issue.

If Virgie gets a legal guardianship, we can probably expect to see a wrongful death suit against Stern, at least, joined with Dannielynn.

I said before and I'll say it again, I anticipate that the courts will be making the ultimate decisions as to custody, guardianship and validation of the will. The reason is simple: These people will never agree.
