IIRC The 2001 will has no standing until it is probated. Not sure if it can be done in the Bahamas or California.
There has been really good research on this upthread.
Cannot be probated in Bahamas because she died out of the Bahamas (one of the strange Bahamian laws)... 99% it will have to be probated in California.
