Very true analysis! The new TV version of ANS, Willa Ford, was on “Extra!” just now, with more details to what I reported earlier - and some of it is just what you said.
I didn’t see the first part, just turned up the sound when I saw a pic of ANS. Apparently, the host had asked Ford why she was chosen for the movie. She said “evidently I play a good drunken or drugged-out Anna” and she added “without drugs.”
The host asked, “how did you get in character?” She said it was all about LAZINESS. Lol, in trying to get the slurring speech patterns down, she just had to pretend to be as lazy as she possibly could be. She said just trying to talk when you’re too LAZY to even speak makes the words come out like that - then she demo’ed.
Too funny. Then he asked her about the “weight thing.” She said, well, ANS was 5’11” and 140 when a Playmate and that she, Willa, is 5’7” and 1-something considerably less, so she’s eating a lot of cheeseburgers.
She said she needs to gain 80 pounds for the ANS part. (I was being nice when I said 60 earlier - I thought I heard “80” elsewhere, but I toned it down - see what effect ANNAmania has on me, when I don’t even care?)
Anyway, the narrator in the voiceover said “special prosthetics and a fat suit” are being built for Ford to do the portrayal.
(Boy, I called that one! Only because I thought that yucky Willa to be too vain to gain all that weight - and just enough of an egomaniac to “pretend” like she was going to, so all would think her “sacrifice” for her acting career is so noble.)

OT - since 24/7 tax work seemed to have hydrated my chloral last night, the minute I saw that NCIS was a repeat I had seen, I missed all TV after that, including the Dancing results show - and didn’t know my homie Clyde the Glide Drexler was *finally* kicked off.
No surprise, but bless his heart. Nice guy, terrible dancer. Hard to coordinate all those legs, I guess. I believe his legs are taller than I am, or pretty close.
The good news is - I got the returns in the mail 3 hours before I needed to. Seldom do I leave that much time on the table, lol. Being car-less makes me do strange things!
