I can see another reason. Severe guilt. Looking back I think Virgie thinks she should have gone to LA and kicked the door down to see Daniel. I think it’s hard to imagine having someone out of your life and kept away from you for years and years and then have them turn up dead before you could get a chance to see them. Within 6 months that’s what Virgie had to deal with, twice. The first time she sees her daughter she laying dead in a morgue. Who cares how Perper had it all set up and flowery ..Anna was still dead. I can’t say that it’s not about the money. But I believe that Virgie may also be responding to guilt and a desire to ensure that NOONE is able to keep her from seeing her grandchild the way that Anna did. Like I said earlier upthread..I want to know how many times HKS and Larry have gone to see Anna and Daniel.

Did you read the NY Post article yesterday : Says the baby is staying put because of Virgie.... all I can take this to mean is she isn't too worried about the baby being with HKS or she would have allowed Larry to go forward Friday with custody and the baby would be in the process of being whisked out of Horions:

Seems like a shell game or slight of hand to me. HKS diverts this daily media attention away from ANS's death and Daniel's death and all the many revelations about HKS and KE that have gone on in the media for the last couple of weeks, to LB is the father and ensuing custody battle of VA.

Shell game/slight of hand-look what Virgie is doing. Isn't she awful to pursue custody against LB? etc.,etc., etc.- And all the media outlets are discussing the custody battle. The public spotlight is off HKS and now looking at and discussing this VA vs. LB matter.

In the meantime: DWS inquest to resume on May 22, transition period for DL of 2-4 weeks with LB visiting Horizons, nothing to be done about getting HKS out of Horizons for now, public auction for diaries stopped (even though didn't stop original sales on eBay),Lin Wood entered, Big League PI hired, and defamation lawsuit against OQ filed.

If not for the nannies' interviews being published yesterday, sending out a big reminder as to whom they should really be focusing on (HKS/KE-IMHO) - the banter over how awful VA is or is not -would be the thing dominating the ANS news this week.
