There was a movie on TV about James Dean some years ago, it was really great. I wish they would show it again.........he was the first really cool guy IMO.

Thanks for the heads up. I found two movies about him on imdb. One was done in 1976 called "James Dean" and the other in 2001 called "James Dean" aka "James Dean an Invented Life". Which one do you think it was that you saw?

I'll have to tell my 18 year old daughter about this. I'll go to the used record store today and try and buy it for her. She got hooked on him when she saw Rebel without a Cause. There's still his poster hanging in her room, even tho she's away at college now.

But as you know we're restoring a house and she asked me if it was ok to hang her James Dean poster on the wall in her room. "Of course, it's your room" i answered.

It has to be 2001, it wasn’t that long ago.

The guy that played him was almost identical in looks.
