You certainly are not an idiot! I think “The Insider” must have read your post! I read your earlier post about “Munchausen Syndrome” and had to look up what it meant! I hope that doesn’t make me an idiot! Maybe I’m not completely stupid, because I had enough sense to look it up?!! :-)

Well, I had really been thinking about it as I reviewed everything over the past few weeks. Then it really came clearly into focus when I read that sickening petition for HKS as Special Admin last night.

It was as if the “Director” (a la Sac) had engineered the ultimate publicity stunt with Daniel’s death.

To have him die the way he did, where he did, when he did, was just so much of a Greek tragedy to add to the saga of ANS’s bizarre life.

The way they both constantly “protesteth too much” the imaginary intrusion into their lives by the paparazzi, who really weren’t paying that much attention to Anna anymore at that point.

They had to have one staged event after another staged event, for coverage. Howie had gotten used to the reflected limelight - first with the reality show, then the courthouse coverage. In Feb, the grand entrance to the SCOTUS. In May, more SCOTUS news, with a supposed “win” and HKS basking in the lapdog glory, as if he had orchestrated this whole thing.

ANS and the Marshall case represented his “fantasy” come true in the embodiment of one crazy person with one crazy life. “Oh, the crush of the press” they both cried, while baiting the press even further.

ANS did her part by getting pregnant and making a big mystery of “who’s your daddy” and playing cat & mouse with the press over it. Nobody really cared until HKS started making such a big deal of it with the contracted appearances on ET and TI.

And now, there were the *potential* Marshall multi-millions jump-starting everything again.

Then they had to really cook up something to keep the “nasty press hounds” at bay - all the way across the Caribbean. ANS and her “have to get away from them by moving to The Bahamas” Garbo routine. Guess what - if she’d looked over her shoulder, the only one following her was Stern!

First it was the baby delivery video - once enough mystery had been drummed up about that. Really slick the way Howie “forgot” the video camera and Anna had to act all innocent about telling him to go get it. “We’re not really setting this up for ET or anything.”

Come to find out, the press was still yawning over the baby born on the faraway island to the over-the-hill over-the-top “big top” bazoomba lady who married an old man once-upon-a-time and is still waiting for the pot of gold. Cue the teenage son - another good photo op. *Allow* Daniel to come visit the baby.

Oh, no! Nobody cares. So, Howie, the win-at-all-costs shyster faux lawyer, playing a press agent on TV, ratchets it up a bit. He’ll show *them* for not paying attention to the “world’s most perfect woman” (his words) ... what if, what if ... something were to happen to the son, the only heir to those Marshall millions?

HKS is getting desperate to make ANS’s “legacy” worth as much as Marilyn’s or Elvis’s, in HKS’s fantasy of the future. Sure enough, what could’ve been just a little OD by an unknown son of a washed-up pin-up, a little Holllyweird thing that happens and gets covered up every day, turns into high drama when Daniel dies.

Howie sees what happens next - all the sympathy and attention ANS gets. All the “free passes” she gets from all the media and fans - so what if she’s more incoherent than usual, she lost her son. So what if she says she’s getting committed to her butt-buddy Howie? Why not? She’s grieving.

And the money is pouring in!

People who have Munchausen will do anything to get sympathy and attention - *anything.* Especially tragic medical things. That’s their specialty.

And look at Howie, poor widdle Howie, the long-suffering Howie. The martyr who put his career and love life on hold, all for Anna! When she died as a natural progression of her disease of addiction and his disease of codependence, all that Anna attention turned to him.

He made the most of it - from the Seidlin circus to the funeral eulogy to the dramatic turns over the past 3 months, next to the courtrooms again. He couldn’t get there honestly, so he got there “by proxy.”

Howie, as BonBon would say, “You make me sick!”
