(from the catfight department:)

May 7, 2007 — CALL the exterminators. Get out the Raid. From the woodwork this week comes a threatened lawsuit from the only creature to crawl through Anna Nicole Smith’s life from whom we have not yet heard. But now he, too, wants in on the p.r. and payoffs.

An L.A. lawyer, name James Balesh, represents something called Donnie Hogan. A brother. Who has “claims arising out of the publication of the book, ‘Train Wreck: The Life and Death of Anna Nicole Smith.’ “ The author is Donna Hogan, their sister. Donnie is suddenly “offended” at its “false . . . offensive . . . defamatory statements.” Like, Page 7, describing their house: “windows were broken and the children froze . . . the place didn’t have running water.” Page 30: “Donnie would get really drunk and rowdy and Anna would chew him out.” Also, Page 41, which states Anna took Donnie “to porn parties and social events.”

Adding to said horrific statements, he’s also outraged at photographs “used without his permission.” Despite these capital crimes, he’s demanding “promised” royalties, even though “he never received anything in writing to reflect this arrangement.”

Says sister Donna Hogan in response: “It’s a shame Donnie so desperately wants to profit from his sister’s tragic death. Maybe he needs some new tires for his house.”

free for the viewing, part of chapter one of donna’s book - rambling, disjointed, all over the place, but has some interesting comments about virgie’s stable, christian home, and hogan driving by Virgie’s house !! (talk about stalking!) and the night Anna got whooped, was because she ran off with an older man

(quotes in no particular order:)

“I remember as a little girl my dad and mom would drive us
by Vickie’s home...It seemed so tranquil and pretty at her house. I desperately
wanted to jump out of the car and run to her and ask if we could be
together, if I could come and live with her there. Her life looked so”
much better than mine. She lived on this farm-type home and I was
envious of her swing set and garden.”

“Considering our background, I have always thought that
Vickie drew the lucky straw. Her mother, Virgie, made sure that
our abusive father, Donald Hogan, was never allowed to lay a
finger on her and, despite what Vickie said, Virgie made sure her
daughter grew up in a middle-class household.”

“Virgie and Donald Hart were very disciplined and
religious. They believed in strong family values, which
Anna rebelled against. The couple maintained a stable family
environment; they raised all five of their children under one roof
and didn’t divorce until all of them had grown up.”

“Vickie’s mom became a police officer after she left our dad.
However, two years ago a brain aneurysm cut her career short. She
was in a coma for three months and had to learn to walk, talk and
feed herself all over again.”

“{Anna} began sneaking out of the house to hang with the wild
crowd—the boys living on the edge––doing whatever you could
imagine. Vickie continued to hang around these people even when
the guys got angry and hit her.”

“According to her stepfather, Donald Hart, ‘She snuck out of the
house with an older man and went off with him and got caught by
her mother.’ That is when she got shipped off to Mexia...”
