Yes, we have Annas Linens. Been there before. And i just checked their website. Problem is now i’m very particular about the fabrics and most of the cafe curtains i’ve seen are either a solid color (which i don’t want) or are white/beige with roosters or strawberries on them (which i don’t want). If i weren’t so picky about this, there are some choices out there.

But someone came over a couple weeks ago to give me an estimate and an educated opinion and she said my wall color is too bright yellow for any white or off white colored curtains. I think she is right about that. You’d have to see the kitchen to understand why. It’s very nice and really needs a color with a nice floral (or stripe if push comes to shove).

Just got back from the fabric stores and they’re not open yet. Shoulda checked the phone book first!

Thanks for the help. I really appreciate all the advice you guys are offering.

Blue & white goes good with yellow—especially in french inspired kitchens.

I bought a Brother sewing machine a couple of years ago, and finally took it out of the box recently. My stepdaughter used it, and now I have to find my seam ripper to undo all the improperly wound thread :( Supposed to be an auto bobbin threader, but haven’t used it. Sewing could be the way to go.

Hmmm, bright yellow? I’m thinking a small floral pattern. Tangerine or peach, or maybe red and blue flowers? Not sure what your favorite colors are, but blue and white “ticking” could be a good option.

It’s your house, you should be picky :)
