I agree...but separate the two issues and, putting LB completely aside for a minute, consider only Virgie vs. HKS....
She filed and began fighting for custody, apparently immediately following Daniel’s death, and continued to do so for as long as there was a chance HKS could get DL, even though she says all along she didn’t really want to raise DL, she would if she had to, but she just wanted to be the grandma, she only wanted visitation.
She’s also fighting for influence over DL’s financial affairs, as long as their is a chance HKS remains involved in any way.
And, in my opinion, if there is still a standing motion by Virgie requesting any type of custody of the baby, it is ONLY because custody has not yet been given to LB and HKS still remains with custody/standing. And, if there is still a standing motion by Virgie requesting any type of custody over the estate, it is ONLY because she’s concerned how much involvement HKS will have in controlling the estate.
As long as there is a chance in Heck that HKS can have a ‘custodial’ relationship with DL or with ANS estate...Virgie is not going to back down. That’s how I see it, because that’s exactly what I would have done and be doing.
You make a good case, but I still view her with a jaundiced eye. ;)
Since the child is now out of the house with HKS, my concern with what VA is up to has diminished. If your interpretation of Rose’s comment is correct, VA has been involved with legal manipulations regarding DL for quite some time and I’ll patiently wait to see what she really wants.
I am not so patient in wanting that inquest to get underway. Keeping the witness list intact until May 22 may prove to be a challenge.
