That whole Larry and HKS friendship thing has me nervous.

I did see the post about ANS and HKS and Larry being together in the past. But IMO i cant see how he can forgive someone who may have had something to do with the death of Daniel and ANS and after reading the nanny’s statements, how can he be buddy buddy with someone who was involved on drugging a baby?!?! Makes no sense to me!

I have a feeling nothing will happen today and it will drag on longer. I hope i am wrong!!

LOL! Hey those are not delusions, Sod! :-)

Yes there have been indications all along the way and when I first heard MPD mentioned - (must have been from you) - I looked back at the clown video as clear evidence of this. Even though Anna was clearly drugged - that little girl voice was a real clear clue.

Then it was the other diaries that came out.

And then watching the Mommie dearest video - again another personality.

And many people who are abused cope with it by developing Multiple Personality Disorders. Plus it could have come from the heavy drug usage also....but it looks to be a longstanding condition.

Yes, who are we to say for sure.

I've only read about people with MPD - enough to know it is a real condition and usually stems from abuse - sometimes from ritual abuse.

Has anybody ever answered as to whether or not Anna actually was abused as a child?

“”””Has anybody ever answered as to whether or not Anna actually was abused as a child?”””

I believe Donna Hogan and Jackie Hatten each made veiled references to Anna having been sexually abused by a step-brother and/or stepfather.

Maybe in Donna Hogan’s book “Trainwreck”??

Absolutely.... walks like a duck, talks like a duck, smells like a duck......It’s Howard, or a very close relative.

well,,,,, I live near Nashville and I felt like Mary was abused and I think the defense did a great job. I watched the whole trial. The majority of folks in TN think she should have got a lesser sentence.

Have there been any new deaths reported?

It’s been almost 3 months since Anna died - can we expect Bon-Bon to keep her promise?

She owes us!

I didn’t watch any of it. I followed it from the Amber Alert onward, until there was no more news for months and months.

Sorry, I didn’t believe her. Matthew kicked her in the *face* in the same eye that been blackened by a baseball? None of it rang true to me, at all. And I know more than I want to know about abused women.

I obviously didn’t know anything about Matthew in real life, but I could tell he was probably stiff-necked about a lot of things, but Mary just “protesteth” way too much, in my opinion.

I don’t like the sentence - and I’ve seen plenty of people in TN who didn’t agree she should get off this easily, so I don’t think it was really a very big majority.

She’s a dancer. She’s heavily into dance. It’s weird to be with young kids who are into some kind of performing art because they’ll break into it in the middle of a public space. So you’re on line at like Abercrombie & Fitch and getting her some T-shirts or something and my daughter is standing there and she’ll go...(dances) She does some thing. I don’t even think she’s aware of it. It’s how she lives.
***

Alec honey, that isn’t just your precious kid that is into art, that is every 11 year girl. I have three daughters who aren’t ‘into a performance art’ and they break into a cheer in the middle of Walmart. I know I know, it isn’t Abercrombie and Fitch, but it’s not too much different.

The Really Big Story (Maybe)

by Pat Sajak

Posted: 04/20/2007

One of the legacies of the O.J. Simpson saga was the discovery that a TV news division could garner huge ratings with blanket coverage of a Really Big Story, or RBS. (“Really Big Story” being a journalistic term meaning a story deemed capable of garnering huge ratings with blanket coverage). The RBS lesson has been adopted with a vengeance by the 24-hour cable news networks, and it continues to be an effective ratings tool.

However, the problem with relying on an RBS for elevated ratings is, what happens when there’s no story deserving of that status? The answer is simple: you just decree that something is an RBS, and you cover it with ferocity until the next RBS comes along.

Of course, some stories actually merit extensive coverage, among them the recent horror at Virginia Tech and the 2001 terrorist attacks. When those kinds of legitimate stories happen, they tend to knock the ersatz ones off the radar screen, most likely never to return. When I sat, stunned, with my wife watching the second jetliner slam into the World Trade Center, I remember saying two things two her. First, I said our lives would never be the same, and, second, we would probably never hear the name Gary Condit again. (Condit was the RBS prior to 9/11. Does anyone know the status of that story?)

I thought of this phenomenon when the latest copy of Newsweek arrived in the mail. It was printed too early to be able to feature the Virginia Tech story on the cover. Instead, there was Don Imus, the most recent media-driven RBS, and it felt as dated as if I were picking up a 1942 copy of The Saturday Evening Post. That’s the trouble with a fake RBS; there’s no shelf life. When it’s hot, it’s hot; when it’s not, it’s really not. (Though, in the case of Imus, his hiring by another media outlet could generate another round of 24-hour coverage.)

In a way, the phony RBS is a comfort. It means there’s nothing terrible enough happening in the world to interrupt the saturation coverage of the missing girl in the Caribbean or the DNA tests on the offspring of dead celebrities. The downside, though, is much worse. Elevating a relatively minor story to RBS status removes all perspective and diminishes the import of stories that really deserve to be examined at length. It reduces news coverage to nothing more than an ongoing reality show; a circus where the center ring must always be filled, even if the acts are unworthy of the showcase.

If forces otherwise capable journalists to try to sell us on the validity of their coverage, even though they have to know better. It has allowed networks to superimpose the words “Breaking News” over a story that is not breaking, or perhaps not even news. It’s a charade played by those who present the news and those of us who watch it. That’s why it was excruciatingly jarring to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer as he recently stood, looking somber, in his “Situation Room”, only to have fellow anchor Jack Cafferty ask, “Well, Wolf, is Anna Nicole still dead?” For a moment, at least, the jig was up.

There will be another Really Big Story soon. For the sake of our world, let’s hope it’s the manufactured type. For the sake of journalism, let’s hope it’s not.

The “30 Rock” star’s spokesman tells us: “In the best interest of the child, Alec will do what the mother is pathologically incapable of doing ... keeping his mouth shut and obeying the court order. The mother and her lawyer leaked this sealed material in violation of a court order. Although Alec acknowledges that he should have used different language in parenting his child, everyone who knows him privately knows what he has been put through for the past six years.”

‘TRAIN WRECK’ on the Dr. Phil Show
Tough Questions From America’s Psychologist for Anna Nicole Smith’s Half-Sister Promoting Her Tell-All Book
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., April 9 /PRNewswire/ — Donna Hogan, the estranged half-sister of Anna Nicole Smith, made her first media appearance in support of a “tell-all” book about Smith on an episode of DR. PHIL, scheduled to air Wednesday, April 11 (check your local listings). When Hogan told Dr. Phil that she wrote the book TRAIN WRECK: The Life and Death of Anna Nicole Smith to “set the record straight” about Smith, McGraw asked how she could do that, considering she had not seen or spoken to her sister in 12 years. McGraw also asked if it was true that the only time Hogan was in Smith’s physical presence was years ago when Hogan stood in line to greet Smith at a bookstore calendar signing, which Hogan denied. The Dr. Phil show agreed to embargo the episode, which was taped weeks ago, until April 11th, the week of the book’s official publication date, at the request of Hogan’s publisher. But directly after the taping, Michael Viner, president of Phoenix Books, Hogan’s publisher, reacting to Dr. Phil’s tough questioning of Hogan regarding the book’s content, asked the executive producers of DR. PHIL not to broadcast the episode.I made a promise to myself that I would not write another word about the whole Anna Nicole tragic story. But, along came Donna Hogan and her “tell-all” book.

I’ve been blasted with scathing comments and emails from Don Hogan/Vergie Arthur supporters. The problem with these cowards is they comment and call me names, question my intellect, etc. and fade into cyberspace. No facts to back up anything. Face it Vergie/Don friends and supporters, things don’t look so pretty in your camp. Donna Hogan…..shame on you. The episode aired on Dr. Phil today. She has nothing to back up most of her claims. The only picture in the entire book of her and Anna Nicole was taken at a book signing. These people are like cockroaches. They keep multiplying and only come out in the dark. Geez……I thought my family was dysfunctional until I got a look at the Hogan/Arthur bunch.

Vergie is twisted. Call me whatever you want. It doesn’t change the fact that Vergie is still sucking up the limelight from her dead daughter. She claims to just want to be a grandmother to Dannilyn one minute. The next minute, her lawyer (Texas) is all over the cable news shows admitting that Vergie may file for custody. What kind of a grandmother would want to slander the father of her grandchild? And, that’s what it amounts to, folks. Why would a person seek joint custody? What purpose does that serve? Makes me think that she’s intimating that Larry Birkhead is not a fit parent. Doesn’t make any sense at all……that is unless you follow the money.

Ya know, I really hope that somebody will change my mind. So, where are you Vergie/Don friends and supporters. Make a real argument.

They don’t call it MPD anymore - there were too many fake-outs and abuses of that.

The study of the Dissociative Identity Disorders has gotten more sophisticated and deals with a wide variety of fugues or dissociative states. The true DID’s are rare, but just as messed up as those who were described in earlier studies as MPD.

My opinion, which you know what that’s worth, lol, is that there were extreme learning disabilities at the root of ANS’s problems. The dysfunctional family just exacerbated everything that was there to begin with. Just MHO.

Trisha you nailed it.

Wonder when Anna decided she had been sexually abused as a child. This is very chilling on how psychotherapists can implant the seed. Dr. K may have had more power over Anna’s life than we realized.

http://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/index.php?term=pto-20001101-000031&page=2

The American Psychiatric Association recently posted a fact sheet on its Web site (www.psych.org) that warns mental health professionals against leading or pressuring patients into accusing people of sexual abuse. Doctors who ask leading questions in the midst of therapy are especially likely to influence the nature of events recalled. In these circumstances, perfectly normal people can be induced to remember things that never happened. Many distinguished mental health professionals believe this is exactly what has occurred in most, if not all, cases of recovered memories.

I was almost laughed off the thread for using the term: “Multiple personality disorder or Dissociative Identity Disorder”.

So I won’t bring it up again.

a severe condition in which two or more distinct identities, or personality states, are present in — and alternately take control of — an individual. The person also experiences memory loss that is too extensive to be explained by ordinary forgetfulness. The disturbance is not due to the direct psychological effects of a substance or of a general medical condition, yet as this once-rare disorder has become more common, the diagnosis has become controversial. Some believe that because DID patients are easily hypnotized, their symptoms are iatrogenic, that is, they have arisen in response to therapists’ suggestions.

Ok. How about Wes Irwin. Former boyfriend of ANS, AND former husband of Dr. Eroshevich? Not sure if we can find out if KE followed through with the below LA court action; they obviously knew “dirt” about each other and it might explain why Wes is such a willing errand boy. Both he and KE must have a lot of dirt on each other. He SHOULD help her to get out or get financially solvent...especially if he doesn’t want to be implicated in all the ‘alleged’ drug shipping across state lines and to offshore accounts stuff. ;)

I can’t figure out which office that is supposed to be. TK, do you know?

Her Encino office is Suite #1220. The Beverly Hills office is just “3rd floor” like all the celebrities who have their fan mail sent there, too.

Her older Wilshire Blvd addy is #305. Don’t know the suite number on the even older Anaheim addy, probably in her OC time with Bahou or something, or the Compton one. I can’t find any with Suite #400 on them. Is this a new place, do you know?

OR GRIEF STRICKEN

Call me whatever you want.
OK - STUPID

It doesn’t change the fact that Vergie is still sucking up the limelight from her dead daughter.
WHO HAD EVER HEARD OR SEEN VIRGIE BEFORE ANNA’S DEATH?

She claims to just want to be a grandmother to Dannilyn one minute.
SHE HAS ONLY BEEN ALLOWED ONE MINUTE SOUND BITES

The next minute, her lawyer (Texas) is all over the cable news shows admitting that Vergie may file for custody.
IN ORDER TO BRING THE KILLERS OF HER DAUGHTER AND GRANDSON TO JUSTICE.

What kind of a grandmother would want to slander the father of her grandchild?
SLANDERING HK$ OR LARRY? AND HOW EXACTLY HAS SHE SLANDERED LARRY? PROOF PLEASE!

And, that’s what it amounts to, folks. Why would a person seek joint custody? What purpose does that serve?
IF YOU HAVE AN EXTRA BRAIN CELL SEE COMMENT ABOVE

Makes me think that she’s intimating that Larry Birkhead is not a fit parent.
I THINK YOU DON’T THINK

Doesn’t make any sense at all……that is unless you follow the money
FOLLOW THE MONEY THAT HK$ HAS SQUIRRELLED AWAY? HOW CAN WE DO THAT?
FOLLOW THE MARSHALL MONEY? IT DOES NOT EXIST!

I saw that posted the other day and didn’t quite understand the deal with Wes Miles.

I knew someone said Geraldo or somebody like that kept calling Wes her ex-husband, yet they portrayed themselves as married on ANS’s show, according to reports I saw. (I can’t view the episodes.) That was in 2002-2004, long after 2000. And they do live in the same house.

There are people who do that - divorce and then get back together to live together and never re-marry. I had close friends who did that.

Anyway, I was just surprised to learn they’re divorced. *oh well*
