While your theory sounds good and may contain some truth to it, I think the real answer is much more simple (Occam's Razor). LB is a narcissist. He told Opri he wanted her to make him famous via his paternity suit. LB just likes to see his face plastered every where.
I picked up a copy of OK! at the drugstore last night, and they have an article about Larry Birkhead that is not complimentary! They said 'LB wanted to put on a big extravaganza to impress his family - that he was important, but he was just a big fish in a small pond.' He had even suggested that OK! have Vera Wang design a dress for Dannielynn, but they told him that was unlikely to happen. One source told OK! that 'the party was a waste of money'. I thought the last paragraph was telling: Despite the public birthday, Dannielynn's day-to-day life in L.A. is very private. She lives with Larry in Anna's mansion in Studio City, Calif. Aside from a park outing in July, Dannielynn is rarely seen with Larry going out for lunch, shopping or taking a stroller ride. Larry, however, was spotted hitting up L.A. club Les Deux earlier this month. "You can't call him a hands-on-dad," the source tells OK!. When can we next expect the little girl to make a public appearance? Christmas time may be ideal, but Dad will most certainly want to share camera-time.
Another segment is titled, WHO WILL GET ANNA'S MONEY?, and David Schwartz, a Brooklyn-based attorney told OK! : "Howard will make money as an attorney and as her executor. He could also apply to the surrogate court for a percentage of the total. Larry will profit just from taking care of her. Dannielynn has to live in a house, and who's to say if it will be a $20,000 house or $200,000 house."
I wish the ABA would investigate some of its' members; i.e., Ron Rale, HKS,and numerous others who seem to twist the law and make a mockery of it. I do not believe the date on the Fax Rale sent was a mistake...he goofed and is more involved in this saga than he wants to admit - IMO. How can anyone have any respect for HKS? He is a known leech and squatter...living off ANS and taking control of someone else's property by dishonest means. IMO,he belongs under the jailhouse for being such a worthless human being. The same could be said for LB. Has he done a day's work since getting custody of Dannielynn? He should not be allowed to spend money that doesn't belong to him. It's his responsibility to support Dannielynn - not hers to support him! If ever an investigation was needed; it is now. These men need to be stopped before they dupe anymore people and take advantage of people with the help of the judicial system in Florida and the Bahamas.

I find it very strange that Howard Stern’s parents have not, (as Virgie has), been criticized in the media for raising a lawyer-son who leeched, encouraged prescription drug abuse in a pregnant woman and watched two people die while under his control. What kind of enabling parents are they??? Not to mention the porno sister!
Also - what’s with Larry’s saintly parents not getting some grief? - their son is a disgraceful single father - no job -just pimping their grandchild!!
And then we have Anna’s mother, the villified Virgie - It defies rational thought!!!!
HKS' parents should read the article at the above address, and hang their heads in shame that they reared such a no-good bum for a son. He lives off a woman and is admittedly after part of the money she wanted to inherit, but, who IMO, is not entitled to another penny of J. Howard Marshall's money. This article is riddled with lies by HKS. He knew the drugs she was taking, and he was the one supplying them to her according to numerous people.
I don't believe HKS' parents are independently wealthy! Both worked, but they had 3 children to educate, plus I've read it's very expensive to live in California. We have neighbors from CA. who just bought the smallest house in the neighborhood, and they are so proud of it, because it is so much nicer than anything they could afford in CA. I live in a nice neighborhood, but it is not the fanciest, most expensive, or most elite in the city by a long shot!
Didn't Rita's book say that it had been reported that HKS had funneled ANS' money to the Cayman Islands to an account in his parents' name? If they are aware of this, then they are culpable of taking ANS' money illegally too, aren't they, Sac?

LMAO - the TV tab show “Extra!” was on a little while ago and I heard them say “Larry Birkhead”, so came in to the TV to see what it was.
OMG - they were asking him what he thought of OJ’s arrest. I have no idea where this was taking place, outside in public somewhere with other people milling all about. (Was the arrest before the Emmy’s? I didn’t watch them or even know they were on last night, lol.)
He said he was sooo glad for OJ, because it bumped him off the media, so they won’t be saying bad things about him anymore!
I want HKS, LB and all their 'talking heads' who have demeaned Virgie to be held accountable for all their evil deeds. Incidentally, Dannielynn resembles Virgie much more than she does LB. Her eyes are not shaped like LB's and she's got chubby little cheeks like Virgie. Of course, all that is subject to change, but I bet Virgie was a pretty young girl.

His mother is Nancy, step-mother Donna....
I heard a comment somewhere, that, after LB put on such indignation over having to be 'forced' 'respond to' allegations in Ms. Cosby's book, taking him 'away from party planning' , caring for DL, and DL walking (eye roll)...he took off after the party for NYC Fashion Week, where he's been for a few days now. Can anyone else confirm?

Well, with something more than the $1.7 million he thumbed his nose at from OK Mag, I would *assume* the sky was the limit on all the assorted party accoutrements they had!
Hot air balloons from overseas; a very large Cinderella carriage with life-sized prancing horses decked out in plumage; the “real” Barney from PBS who doesn’t make personal appearances, skipping around on a sound stage, plus party favors from his own merchandising; a fairy tale castle birthday cake too big to fit in the front door of a castle-like home entrance; enormous cupcakes, ice cream cones, lollipops and whatever else’s as yard decorations; a gigantic floating castle on the indoor pool; thousands of helium balloons; a huge glass slipper full of hundreds of wrapped gifts; a bubble machine; two larger-than-life-sized knights in shining armor to guard the cake; a vanishing ice sculpture of a crawling baby; buffet of pizza, chicken wings, chicken tenders and pink lemonade for 200+ guests; a pink chocolate fountain, a pink cotton candy machine, on and on - and I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting.
With all that, in a very fancy and grandiosely decorated home with ornate gewgaws in every nook and cranny, I would think that the hosts would spring for a little bit extra on the design of the plates and napkins, which are the only things that every single guest is going to have in their hot little hands.
This was billed on ET as “the world’s most elaborate child birthday party” for “the world’s most famous 1-year-old” at the home of the “world’s most famous twins” (and they didn’t mean Larry and Louie) - so I would expect something better than a stock off-the-shelf simplistic computer design.
Dannielynn doesn’t care, but the point of a party is to celebrate with the gathered guests and you’re supposed to do things that make them glad they came. Besides being the guest of honor, Dannielynn is also the hostess, theoretically. It would’ve been nice to furnish some plates personalized with the “world’s most famous baby’s” name and the date on them, as well as matching napkins, so the atttendees would have something besides a generic goody bag or Barney stuff to take home as a souvenir.
And with the money they spent on this thing (*whoever* spent it), they most certainly *could’ve* commissioned some little Limoges boxes or had some special non-breakable kind of plates, like melamine or something, made with a design matching the elaborate castle cake or the very intricate glass slipper or the coach and horses - anything besides what they did. The whole affair was *rich* with graphic ideas! Even *I* could’ve done better than that and I’m not an artist.
I guarantee you LB didn’t want the party stuff sold on eBay, so didn’t do that, if *he* couldn’t make the money off of it.
The guests appeared to just be an afterthought, just for show. “Props,” if you will. Can you imagine standing in line for that? Your own kid can’t even be in any pix at the party!
And they’re already planning to do it all over again for #2 next year! Egad!

I’ve seen the documents and have researched a lot, but can’t pin down some of it. Have pinned down other info not in there, but will just have to put it where it goes in the list, which isn’t all that detailed, you know.
Angela doesn’t live in Myrtle anymore - last I knew she was in The Woodlands, here in Houston - she has a MySpace page. I do have more on the mom, but not Judy’s mom - she’s the question mark.
I had thought they were all pretty decent people until the father said what he did and then I didn’t care too much anymore about knowing about them. The nieces and nephews are all adorable and I see the older kids visit in L.A., as LB takes one to movie crud.
That way, he can talk about “all the cousins” DL has “surrounding her” at Anna’s house. Gary Stern has kids and I wonder if they come over to visit, too, or if they’re considered “cousins.”
