It is colder here in western North Dakota than the hearts of Gore, Clintoons and Pelosi combined. The sun is brilliant and sky clear but 18 was tops and then the NW wind started up about 2 PM. Uff Dah.

Pretty much the same thing here in Western South Dakota. We’ve had snow for the past four days. It’s funny watching my toddler grandbabies, in their snow suits and boots, hunting Easter eggs. With the white background, the eggs are pretty easily spotted. We even “hid” some on the snowman.

This Easter weather here has happened before and will happen again.

I knew Gore would jinx my Easter...

Perhaps Algore and the dims are buying up too many carbon credits, thus throwing into global cooling.

We need a law against carbon credits.

BTW: We're sub freezing here in Indy as well, with some possible snow forecast.

I moved here to Central Michigan about 15 years ago. Before this year, the latest winter storm I remember was on a March 23. We got 4 inches of snow, but it melted in a day. We've been having 20 degree weather for days, snow is not melting and the ground is re-freezing.

I'm sorry, I take full blame for this. I changed my snow tires last week. That's the reason for bitter cold, January level blizzards.

April is unusually cool evrywhere, even in the equatorial regions.

Some places are cooler and some are warmer (like out west). My theory is that the low number of sunspots has (somehow) energized the polar jet stream. It will freeze the fruit blossoms the same way it did in 1985 (also low number of sunspots). Lack of sunspots, however, does not appear to cause immediate global cooling, but in the long run it can (e.g. Maunder minimum).

All, today is my birthday and I am 60,

I lived most of my life in Northern Indiana but now live in Dallas. (BTW there is snow in the forecast for Easter Sunday morning here.)

I have x-cross country ski’d 4 times on my birthday mostly in the late 70’s and early 80’s. But that is when we had global ice age approaching.

Got snow flurries in the past hour here in Nashville. It was almost 90 degrees a few days ago.
