The '57 Chev came with a nice 289 cube V-8. Put the power pack option on and it was a hot car. Could even get fuel injection, but it was mechanical and didn't always perform that well.

The '57 Chev came with a nice 289 cube V-8.Do you recall when they came out with the 327 SS? Seemed funny to be in a full-sized car with a floor shift.

If memory is correct. The '58 283 was a bit different then later models, namely it had side motor mounts and a rope real seal.
