I say justice is served. The only person I pity in this is the shooter. I know it's harsh, I don't care. I would expect he same to happen to me if I got caught doing some guy's wife and being party to the destruction of his personal life.
Temporary insanity.
There's something you're forgetting- because of this man's foolish pride, his children are now without a father. He could have easily gouged his faithless wife in both custody and financial arrangements. Now his children are either left with a mother who is a lousy role model or they wind up in someone else's custody. That's too high a price for blowing away some hormone-crazed kid.
