we went to the second atlanta race back in '05 (99 won) and it was amazing..had seats on turn 4 (row 3) lookin straight down pit road..

I just checked tickets for the August PA 500 and there's no really good seats left either.

I'm really getting bummed.

Part of the problem is my sister who insists on being on or near the start finish line. I just want to be as high up as possible.

Still being at the race is great. I think my favorite part is the noise. And I'm usually a peace and quiet loving person.

I've only been to Pocono but someday would like to get to Atlanta, Darlington, Talladega, and Daytona.

if you ever get to talladega, take the week off and get there early...it's like mardi gras on steroids 3 DAYS prior to the race..
