Nothing wrong with treating yourself once in awhile, Sweets.
But what is it with shoes that you can’t resist? All I need are a good pair of sneakers, comfy sandals and a pair of black heels, just in case. I’m beginning to think you’ve got a foot fetish. ;)
I’m crossing my fingers for your Colorado vacation. You’ve worked hard for it!
Derly, I'm afraid it is YOU who is out of the ordinary here. There's something in the genes of most of us wimmin that requires us to buy shoes....lots of shoes. It's therapeutic somehow. I don't get it either. I almost never wear sneakers; well, except to work out. As soon as the weather starts getting warm in the spring, I wear nothing but open toed shoes until it becomes conspicuously inappropriate in the fall. I'm so short, I'm more inclined to wear things that add a little height. For any kind of regular wear, they have to be comfortable though. For everyday work wear with jeans, a comfortable, brown wedge sandal is the staple. I have some of similar style in different colors for when brown doesn't work with what I'm wearing. I have to have some dressier shoes for court and church, and obviously, there isn't one basic that goes with the different outfits I wear. Besides, shoes are fun, especially summer shoes. And you can't really be considered to have a foot fetish unless you own at least one pair each of red and navy blue shoes...which I don't ...although I do have fuschia and mauve.
This from a wood eating, drizzle loving rodent?????
No shame...
