This is how the work on CrazyHorse in South Dakota looked day before yesterday, after all that snow fell in Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. Just for the scale, you see that hole through the rock? That would hold a 9 story building. Bottom to top is greater than the Washington Monument. The face alone took fifty years to carve. That loose rock at the bottom? That is 7.4 million tons of it.
Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. That is some great pic there. I'm glad you explained it, because now it's easier to see the grand scope of the whole thing.
