My day was nuts, as usual. I spent the first half of it interviewing a couple of kids. Worked through lunch, as usual, while spending pretty much the rest of the day putting out fires. I go to work with 10 things on my list of a morning, get 3 done and go home with 15 things left over....every day. It is getting really overwhelming. There's a good chance that by this summer I could be doing just investigations. That would be such a relief. That is challenging in its own way, but I am much more suited to it. The other two workers prefer casework and would be happy not to ever have to do investigations, so it could all work out eventually....if I don't lose my mind completely first.
