Hah! Yes that was fun, now we can have lots more fun too. Roll out the barrel, we'll have a barrel of sake'!
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited to go back, so many good foods!
Sometimes my life has been like that. When I'm happy with something simple, it seems like life forcibly upgrades it, whether I want it or not, don't ask me why.
I don't have that job nailed down just yet, but there are so many over there, kind of like hitting water by falling out of a boat.
I'll keep everyone posted on where I end up, but the technology park looks probable, since this is the second (really third) time they've invited me to work there. I'm sure one day soon I'll just fly over, the airport's not far, and I basically have all the things I traveled over with, so zoooom, back I go.
I feel so recharged after staying in the US a while, no more 3 year absences for me, I'll come back once every year, should make the time there pass more smoothly!

Aha, and there is your answer, it happened without your permission, ain't it great?? This interlude has been for a reason you may never know why.
I guess you're hot wired for upgrades, LOL!
Just like my computer. ROTFLOL!
Well kinda fits your comments. ;)
To: Soaring Feather

Ah, thanks, gulp!
You know in Taiwan, and I think Japan too, they like to munch garlic dried peas with sake (Chinese just call sake as rice wine, mei jo)

One of the favorite pastimes in Taiwan is Bowling and Karaoke.

Oh boy, I guess between the choices offered I would stay in my room! LOL
To: NY Attitude
Yes that's true, but when I was there last fall they told me bowling was not as big as it used to be, at least in central Taiwan.

I have heard that a lot of changes in recreational activity have taken place. Plus the addition of a heavy fine for ordering and consuming their exotic delicacies.

Is the garlic stuffed into the peas or is it a crop?
To: Soaring Feather
Oh, it's just dusted all over, and mixed in the batter.

Start a new trend by reading poetry instead of singing. Pick a mellow song and read. This would be reminiscent of the old coffee houses in the Village.

Oh now that's interesting. Never heard of this until now.

Aha, I have read my poetry in front of a huge bonfire on Juhannus, Summer Solstice. The bonfire is always on a raft in the water. Viking custom.
