There was a whole line of Rockman gear.
You had the Rockman / Bassman and the Rockmodules.

There was a whole line of gear developed, now it's manufactured by Dunlop and called "Ace"
For the record I have both a Rockman and a Bassman, and I love them. They preserved the harmony among room mates and neighbors for years. I've moved twice since I saw them last and I REALLY need to find them!
Yes you do:) LOL
Don't forget the Barry Goudreau album, which featured Brad on a couple of the tracks, I remember "Mean Woman Blues" (with the classic line 'She said in this house female brutality Has become a reality') got some airplay.
Well, we were just another band out of boston
On the road to try to make ends meet
Playin all the bars, sleepin in our cars
And we practiced right on out in the street
No, we didnt have much money
We barely made enough to survive
But when we got up on stage and got ready to play
People came alive.
Rock and roll band
Everybodys waitin
Gettin crazy
Anticipating love and music
Play, play, play, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Dancin in the streets of hyannis
We were getting pretty good at the game
People stood in line and didnt seem to mind
You know everybody knew our name
Livin on rock-n-roll music
Never worry bout the things we were missing
When we got up on the stage and got ready to play
Everybodyd listen.
Rock and roll band
Everybodys waitin
Gettin crazy
Anticipating love and music
Play, play, play, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Playin for a week in rhode island
A man came to the stage one night
He smoked a big cigar
Drove a cadillac car
And said, boys, I think this bands outta-sight
Sign a record company contract
You know Ive got great expectations
When I hear you on the car radio
Youre goin to be a sensation!

Play, play, play, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
My 14 y/o son is a metalhead [Slipknot, Slayer, etc.] who can play a mean electric guitar, and I asked him if he could play More Than A Feeling for me. He said " easy ! " - now if I can get Slow Ride out of him I'll be in heaven !!
What high school memories I have from Boston - best times of my life. To me, when I hear the word Punk I think nasty and dirty. Give me fun, happy smokin' music like Boston any day. RIP Brad, we'll miss that voice !
I think you may have been duped.
I suspected this... very sad.
Yep, just read this too. D@mn!
I saw them in concert in late 1978.
They followed Black Sabbath with Ozzy...
Their promoter should have been shot...
The primary reason for not touring was because the guitar sounds he created couldn't be performed live.
Yes, I was just reading over the thread to see if anyone updated it with that information.
Apparently he was engaged. What a terrible thing to do to his family and friends.
