Home grown tomatoes also taste SO much better don't they?
They sure do! I make my own sauces and freeze them. Freeze stewed tomatoes (canning them and storing in the Georgia heat can be iffy with tomatoes, but I pickles peppers alot) for chili and soups in the winter. It helps to have a large deep freezer.
