Pretty damn foolish! I bet HKS was saying "Anna, the house is in your name, they can't do anything about it!!!"

But it really wasn't. There was already a deed properly filed and registered in GBT's name. Then the utilities in The Bahamas needed to turn on the water, gas, electric, whatever and they needed it to be in the name of the resident.

And Anna needed her name to be on the deed, for her devious residency purposes. So that part of it got all speeded up - thanks to the kindness of GBT and SFS - putting her name on things in advance. They paid for maintenance things, renovations, the pool upkeep, furniture, services like maids, security, groundskeeping, all kinds of stuff - with not one penny from ANS.

She promised them some payments were coming in "any day" from TrimSpa and kept putting them off and putting them off. She was acknowledging in emails or texts that she owed them and intended to pay - but she had to hide all this from HKS, who wouldn't hear of it.

Most of all, what really got to me was when GBT said he didn't want to embarrass Anna by letting anyone in The Bahamas know she didn't have enough money to buy the house outright. That's why he was going to do the financing for her privately (or SFS was, I think). Then she turned around and screwed them over.
