Maybe in the coffin? However, if he took the time to take photos or videos while everyone is distraught in the hospital, before or after life-saving efforts, then he is one sick puppy. But we already knew that.

I gathered, from Shelley's comments that he was being very careful to indicate that the pictures were taken during his last hours--which is the way Fox reported it.

It could have been before his death was discovered in the hospital room, on the gurney being removed or in the casket at the funeral.

The least suspect of these times is in the casket. Wouldn't be something I would do, but the other opportunities for sure indicate as you said, one sick puppy.

We take photos of our loved ones in the coffin. My family always justified it that we have photos of their journey of life, birth, childhood, weddings, and now death.
