They tried to contact her, and Stern prevented it. I don't know how many sources you need. We now have Virgie, the private eye that Daniel spoke to and ANS's father, ALL SAY THE SAME THING.

Also, didn't Ford Shelly say in court that when his daughter, Reilly (sp), wanted to call him the day of the clown video so she could leave because Anna was acting so strange and she was scared, that Howard told her she couldn 't because the phones were disconnected. Meaning perhaps that Anna also couldn't call out.

Does anyone remember this?

My memory is foggy, but I thought I heard Howard on the tape tell her she couldn't use the phone in the room they were in, but the phone in the kitchen ( or wherever) worked. I never saw that portion of the tape again on TV. It was edited out or clipped short. I still want to see that entire tape.
As I said, my memory is overloaded, and it may also be that Howard related that in court, or somewhere else. I just have this picture in my head of actually hearing it on that tape.
