I believe that HKS's story is that Anna was the one who pushed for the "wedding" ceremony. Something about how she felt very alone after Daniel died and something to make her feel that she was not alone.

I think that's what I remember...anyone else??

I don't believe anything Howard says and, even so, I would speculate that it was HIS idea as a "warm up" to a legit ceremony.

Not sure what HKS story is but KE has stated that she and Howard had convinced Anna to marry him.
