Any animals that have eaten the contaminated food should be seen by a vet ASAP. If you wait until all the signs of kidney failure is there it's too late to save the animal. This is a case where the owner has to be very proactive.

Look guys. It's damn near impossible for me to get that cat into his carrying box. Then I have to sit in the car with him, while my husband drives. My friends ALL work outside the home..

He will have to stay at the Vet's overnight, and we HAVE to go out of town Thursday..

I just can't bring him there tomorrow...pick him up Tuesday and bring him there again on Wednesday.. He's a free spirit, and locking him up at the Vets for over 5 nights with tests is what he faces..

Don't worry...I'm watching him carefully. He's still eating and doesn't ACT sick except for the drinking.
