People are getting passports in anticipation of the law changing in Jan 2008. Local news has reported the increased passport applications.
It's been this way for almost 2 years. Regular customers have to fight their way into the regular part of the PO. This is Little MX, anyway.
I need to get a passport myself. I went on a cruise in 10/06 and was able to use my birth certificate. I don't know when I'm going again but it will probably be later this year or early next year. I think I will be avoiding the Bahamas!!
