Your reference to the deal reminded me of Greta's show where they all agreed that there is no need for a deal - one is either is the father or he isn't - unless there is collusion. These rumors have cause some people to wonder the pregnancy was a setup, etc. I myself can see no reason whatsoever for LB to make a deal. It would only hurt him to be linked to the likes of HKS - I presume he is well aware of the public dislike for HKS and that he is a person of interest in two deaths.
