I don't know what it is - it like a sonic boom - there is nothing around here that would cause it. It has happened one more time since my last post. It shakes the house.

I thought it was a auto accident at first down the road. I live out on a very long road that is a farm road. Speed limit is unmarked so it at 55mph but the road is narrow, hilly and curvy but most people do about 65mph on it. The Amish dude down the road had passed my house earlier in his horse and buggy (he was going into to town) and I always worry that someone is going to take him out on this road and that was my first thought when I heard it the first time.

A combine just went past the house - put that is not it. No sirens yet.

Hell I don't know... going back out to look around.

Make sure Lizarde is not blowing up some of those voles;)
