PERPER: No. One of the findings in an individual (INAUDIBLE) chronic intravenous addiction, which mean they inject themselves drugs, is they develop line of scarring due to repeated injection in their arms, their extremities or somewhere elsewhere in the bodies, and there were no such marks on the body.

So I don't know if this means no needle marks or just no chronic intravenous addiction. Not clear what he means. On another board someone is speculating about a needle mark in the mouth that would be diificult to detect. Ugh.
I remember being appalled when Perper first remarked on the autopsy basics "no chronic drug abuse found."
Good heavens, I've never seen ANS on any TV program or news clip, except one when she didn't speak, that she wasn't totally slurring and incoherent.
Many of the drugs she took were not the type you would normally inject into your veins. He found no track marks on her is what he is saying. (vein blow out - scaring of the veins)
Most of the drugs she liked or may have had can be shot under the skin and/or into the muscle and can be shot in anywhere on the body and they do not leave tracks and the injection marks are small depending on the needle size you use and they heal fast.
