Anna was mean. Well, yes, we've certainly learned that about her. So Martino was a spiritual wierdo.....God can even use wierdos to reach people for real Jesus. Paul said he was happy if people were preaching Jesus out of jealousy and out of trying to harm Paul....he was just happy that Jesus was being preached......(that's not to say I endorse wierdos preaching Jesus - I DON"T - I just say somehow God can use wierdos despite their wierdness. I dare say there weren't many others around Anna who probably talked much about God / Jesus.....do you think?
When Daniel died, Anna prayed for help from Jesus and that Jesus would take her and not Daniel.....
so she had that lingering link to the one true God in her consciousness and it comes out when we hit bottom and our hearts are being ripped out of us.....Who knows? Maybe it was the Lord Jesus who was reaching through her drugged up haze to help her see the truth about Stern? ("you did this to Daniel" - in the hospital that day).....Maybe it was God trying to help her fight through the pain to get back on her feet ---- but those around her kept feeding her the drugs that took her mind away and eventually her life away....who knows?
I repeat - I just hope and pray that her soul is with Jesus today and that Daniel's is also - and if that wierd wacko Martino is the reason both Anna and Daniel had some encounter with the genuine God - I am thankful he was there in their lives!
Would be nice if the baby gets to go to church for her first Easter.
I heard a good flub this morning on the overnight news - while waiting for Access Hollywood to come on (which I then promptly fell asleep for) ... the news anchor was doing a promo for the news coming up at 5AM ...
He was saying something very excitedly - I think about a movie or something - and intended to say “Pure Genius!” ... but it came out, “Pure Jesus!”
He was embarrassed and corrected himself and his female co-anchor laughed about it. I just thought to myself, “Yes, it’s Good Friday now!”
I don’t remember her name but their was one top model and I believe a Playboy bunny who took her fortune and felt God called her to work with the poorest poor children in another country.
I trust Anna did the best she could if the company she kept was not supportive of a Christian life.
Even those who have had wonderful supportive Christian upbringings have at one time or another fallen down in the mud.
Billy Graham son went on a drug maze for awhile as did Michael English when he was on top of his career.
We ALL fall short.
I remember Satan temptations explained to me once as a kid seeing a big bowl of M&Ms not knowing they were tainted with poison.
I not saying ANS was stupid but perhaps very gullable and she had alot put in her path that looked good but was tainted.
Larry B testified that he would just walk away when she was out of control and HKS was her damage control. HKS should have said NO to Anna a few times but perhaps he was going for the Golden Calf.
