I don't have a daughter but I'd rather she dress like a 1860 whore than the ones we have now and days. I know what you are saying ..it has and always will be but I think it's more destructive today.

Talking about this has made me think of something. "Loose women" of old have inspired great art. This drawing's by Lautrec of Susan Valadon. Modigliani and Manet come to mind, too. Offhand, I'm not sure our current pop tarts like Paris/Britney/Lindsay inspire any art let alone great art jaws will be dropping over a century on . . . |
