Oh good grief!! I am so sorry to hear this! My goodness you've had a time of it too! I experienced a 'life or death' burned-out type of retirement in '03. It's a horrible thing to go from a career to doing much of nothing and you are clearly very intelligent and have wonderful skills! Last month I finally received a 'bench decision' for Social Security Disability, but it took over 3 years to get it. I too am home nearly 24/7, so please know I sincerely appreciate your being here with us!!

I, too took "early retirement" due to health-related stress (back in 1992). I was lucky to be able to start a business from home that allowed us to move from California to Arizona when my husband received a early golden handshake in the early 90's.. then came down with Lupus after the move and spent two years struggling to get my health back... I thank God I am as healthy now as ever and Lupus remains in remission... one reason I am so firmly in the health vs doctor column... and I work for a doctor ~LOL~
