I did, too - then got a "pill injector" from the vet to put them way back down in her throat - worked great. She would refuse to eat anything with the pills ground up in it.
But I just bet ANS found plenty of ways to down those pills!
I could have used one of those injectors when our girl had Cushings... I had her on a whole slew of nutrients and she was a real expert and hiding them and spitting them out when I would put her down.
Wasn't it last night Greta told Perper that it would be easy to give ANS enough pills to kill her because she was so adicted they would/could hand to her and say swallow or drink and she would do just that -- and leave no sign in the end that she didn't take them voluntarily.
