I saw Perper on Banfield and she did a good job on questioning him - and I actually found hope in this interview. I haven't been a fan of Perper but he did not get all defensive when challenged like Wecht - and basically said that an investigation is only closed at a given time, but can always be reopened upon introduction of new evidence, not speculation but evidence. When asked what kind of evidence might come to light that would get a case reopened he even offered a couple - confession or videotape. He said he would have no problem going back and taking another look at things - as if he was open to new findings - very different than Wecht's attitude. He said he would be following the inquest in the Bahamas (through the media) - and would consider reopenong the case pending what was found there. When Banfield informed him about Virgie's lawyers intent to try and get the case reopened - he did not get defensive - just said that he will need evidence, not speculation.
Did anyone watching CTV today catch who on the witness list is supposed to say Daniel had a problem with Valium?
