I think the butt drugs were the Vitamin B12 shots so no they wouldn't kill her but of course that's where she got the abscess.

I believe B12 has to be injected into muscle.

I take monthly b-12 shots and the needle prescribed to use is 5/8" long. (Given by myself or hubby at home) That does not prove how long hers would have been but it proves to me that it is not injected deep enough to cause a perforation of a deep abcess. One that close to the surface would have been noticed I think.

B12 can be injected into the deltoid with a small gauge needle...doesn't have to go into the buttock.

It does. So do hormones which is why I get it in the rear.
