The hearing was about who could claim Annas body. In the real world, that would have been Vergie or Hogan. But, the drama queen judge was having a blast playing God.
H. Killer S. wanted to control Anna in death as he did in life. He wanted to make money off the funeral. He got what he wanted.....except Vergie was allowed to attend.

Virgie mad as hell about Stern's lawyers coming in and saying - stop stop stop and pushing the press people out of the courtroom.
