It seems to be the same 'Shane' incident with Moe providing too many details, as usual.
You can tell in the coroner's report which parts HKS, or his atty on his behalf, refused to answer.
Perper would have to write "Moe says he thinks Stern was in the other room."
Well, how about *asking* Stern if he were in the other room? This is the critical timing of Thu morning after 9AM until ANS was discovered - and all we have is "Moe said..."
Of course, the focus of my timeline pet peeve is told two competely different ways in the report - in one, Moe & Tas go to the airport and get Brigitte, KEG and the mystery man - and in the other, HKS goes to get them.
In one, KEG and the MMan go with HKS to the boat - in the other, HKS goes alone, with no accounting of where the other 2 men are.
That stinks!
