FWIW, my DR. is wary of prescribing Xanax because she says that it is extremely addicting. She says that Klonopin (Chlomazipan) is a safer alternative (same drug family) and also better for anxiety as it has a longer half life (lasts longer). Maybe your Doc would be more generous with that prescription? Just an FYI.

Oh, my..... we had a client once who was addicted to Klonopin; it was horrible and very reminicent of ANS when she would call us. I hate any kind of drugs, they kill the liver.
