I'm pretty sure both. She met G. Ben when they (she and Larry) were visiting his family in SC.

I really have a sinking feeling that nobody will be held responsible for any criminal conduct. It's going to be up to Vergie or Hogan on Larry, on behalf of DL, to go after these criminals for wrongful death. Just the fact that Perper was being whispered to by Khrisvorkian is enough to see the writing on the wall. Her practice will probably soar in Calif.
I hate to say it but I agree with you. I just hope that Daniel can get some type of justice. I really think they were shenanigans before and after his death. I'm pretty rough on ANS but I will admit it was heartbreaking in that video when she told Howard to "show" Daniel the pictures and he zooms in on his picture and her mini shrine for him. I don't doubt her heart was broken but she just didn't have the mental tools to deal with this kind of stressor. I blame KE and Howard most of all.
You mean she died due to a pain in her arse? In more ways that one...the abscessed one and the obsessed one we all know as HKS. Not very glamorous at all.

During the Civil War, death resulting from a boil progressing to septicemia was fairly common.
ANS was only minutes from a nearby hospital,but, her medical entourage and her lawyer lover treated her like she was on a wagon train crossing the frontier .
It's quite, shall we say, "odd " that no one in the medical entourage recognized the signs and symptoms of her progressing septicemia.
Or perhaps some of them did....

Daniel's Mysterious Death

The creators of Anna Nicole's final film weigh in on Daniel's mysterious death.
The inquest into DANIEL SMITH's untimely death begins Tuesday in the Bahamas, and ET has the filmmakers of ANNA NICOLE SMITH's final movie -- 'Illegal Aliens' -- and what they think about Daniel's mysterious death.
In addition to a starring role, Anna Nicole had a financial stake in 'Illegal Aliens.' As a result, Daniel was an associate producer on the out-of-this-world comedy, which has yet to be released due to the unfortunate circumstances of both Daniel and Anna's deaths.
"All My Children" star JOHN JAMES had a role in the film and took on the responsibilities of executive producer on 'Illegal Aliens.'
"She wanted to dedicate this film in Daniel's memory," James tells ET.
Just after Daniel passed away, James told ET, "He was a completely healthy [20-year-old] boy, and it's just shocking. We're just shocked."
But as speculation ran rampant as to the cause of his death -- before it was determined that he died due to a fatal combination of methadone, Zoloft and Lexapro -- James said, "No one should speculate on anything. Just relax on this and let things come out as they will. I think we should just sit back and not jump to conclusions here."
'Illegal Aliens' director DAVID GIANCOLA had a different view of Daniel's condition right before he died. In the month leading up to Daniel's sudden death on Sept. 10, Giancola says the 20-year-old was reportedly in and out of the hospital for an elevated heart rate.
"He was really sick," the director tells ET. "Daniel was hospitalized multiple times for an elevated heart rate. At one point he went to the ICU for a short period of time. This was easily two months to a month and a half before his death. I don't know that doctors in L.A. knew exactly what was wrong with Daniel even while they were treating him. I don't think they had pinned down a cause for his health problems; I think they were in the process of that."
The director adds that Daniel was still not fully fit when he flew to the Bahamas to be with his mother, after she gave birth to a little girl on September 7.
"Daniel complained of a stomachache the day before and the day that he got on the airplane to see his mother in the Bahamas," he says. "I know that Daniel wanted to be with his mother; they were very close. I know Daniel wanted to see his baby sister, and I think that's why he got on the plane."
"Daniel was her life," concludes James. "[Anna] raised him alone. He was with her constantly by her side. I think that it says something about Anna that she was the kind of mother who was looking out for the best interests of her son. He expressed interest in the business -- not in front of the camera, but he wanted to be creative behind the camera -- and she made sure that he was there."

Ha!! No..I think that whole thing was something like Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie kissing. Trying to say..yeah we have sex without having to really say it. They knew from day one no one believed their trumped up relationship.

As for the leak...
hmmmm..I wonder if they will reveal their sources in a TV interview..you know the kind that has the person's face in a shadow or silohuette. All we have to do is look for a bump on the left side and we'll be able to spot the leaker.

That "math is hard" thing always gets me. Even Daniel seemed to think HKS had been around for 12 years, when that doesn't quite compute - but it's better than BonBon's "15 years."
Everything I've seen indicates that he met her in 1996 and in fact, that's what he testified to in the Seidlin hearing - I was amazed he was truthful about it. That was when she filed for bankruptcy and went looking for more attorneys, outside of her Marshall ones.
Daniel died in 2006, which would've been 10 years max. I know it's picky, but when I think of people saying they met in 1992-1993-1994-1995, I have a hard time picturing a law school student in L.A. knowing a Houston stripper who didn't have need of any CA lawyers until at least say, August, 1995, after her "husband" died.
She did live in L.A., but all the business and legal stuff was in TX. I've seen that they're now saying he set up modeling contracts for her back then, but there's not any evidence of that at all.
Maybe the new owner of the 1992 and 1994 Vickie Smith diaries will tell us if she noted HKS's presence in her life at that time. Doubt it.

LOL, I thought David Giancola was Kimmie's twin brother before they ID'ed him (actually, I thought it was Kimmie first).
He can say, unequivocally, that there were *no drugs* on his set.
And yet, there was ANS in the starring role. Conundrum.
