My biggest aggravating circumstance was finding out on what, wednesday, that I have to come back next week too.

A pox on the houses of both Mr. Sarbanes and Mr. Oxley.

I wish I could run into them both in a dark alley some day.

Yah know... one of the neat things about the GPS in the car, and I suppose it would be true of a cell phone too, is the constant tracking map you have of the immediate area.

It’s having a map to look at with streets and whatnot on it, so you can at a glance see not only where you are but where all those roads around you actually ~go~. Its turning onto a road and knowing already where it will take you. Pretty handy thing.

Hey now...I was *only* about fifteen miles off course...

You sound like a candidate for a GPS.

Do they have a version of Whack-a-mile that lets you smack Sarbanes and Oxley around?

It’d be in poor taste, but they should...

I can hardly contain my excitement.

Are you allowed to sneak in an adult beverage?

It's frowned upon at the kid's parties. Although I think there were some there. I asked for vodka with my lemonade. But alas, 'twas not to be. I'm getting ready to open a bottle of something red.

The ~good~ news is that since it's currently only about 65° I didn't have to do a lot of convincing to get him to come home early.

When he got out of the pool his shoulders were literally blue.

Evening Corin: That’s what sports bottles and canteens are for. e.g. ‘Nutritional Supplements’.

Evening 2J - we watched ‘Miss Belvedere’s unveiling’ via the KOTV live stream. Ya’ll can throw a pretty good shindig down there. We had hopes the Plymouth would be in better shape but I guess sitting in three plus feet of water in the ‘nuclear bomb proof’ vault (but apparently not water tight) didn’t do Miss Bevedere any good a-tall.

I may have committed a culinary fox paw.

Do you serve red or white with popcorn?

Hm...I’d say white. It compliments the light and buttery popcorn taste. Red would overpower it.

Heh...years ago on British TV, they did a show with a real wine taster using wine taster language, but describing which pop went with things like pizza and burgers. It was pretty funny.

Well, if you had both red and white available I would suggest the one that was open. If both are unopened, the one closest to hand.

No, it wasn’t in good shape. But that’s OK! I’ve been posting about it here on the thread...

You know how enthusiastic I can be? Well, it’s nothing different. I have been just so excited all day.

So you and the jedis were there, we bet they had a great time. I thought the interview with cover maker was pretty cool. “I was 31 at the time and didn’t think I’d last 50 years, well, I’m still here”.

Yeah, that was really neat!

I love it here, Dan. I gotta say it again. I love living in Oklahoma.

LOL, remember it well..

“Ooh they tell me I was born there
But I really don’t remember
In Oklahoma, not Arizona
What does it matter
What does it matter”

We recall the Three Dog Night version, circa 1970. We probably still have the record.
