Northeast Ohio Contrails (vanity)

I hesitate to start a thread like this...

My husband called me a little while ago to say that the sports guy on AM 1100 in Cleveland was breaking into Rush briefly to say that there are a ridiculous number of contrails over NE OH. My husband, who was driving at the time, said sure enough, dozens of them. Looking outside right now I can probably count at least 20 criss-crossing the sky. So anyway, the sports guy (Mike Trivisonno), who is doing his own show now, is spouting off about how "SOMETHING" must be going on, even though "officials" have told him that it's just prime atmospheric conditions that allow the contrails to be seen so well.

He's not buying it, is stirring up the listening audience, so how about some educated freepers tell me that in fact it is the atmosphere. I personally have never seen anything like it, and I don't own a single tin foil hat, I swear.

So when you're all out of the shower, any comments on this hugh and series event would be appreciated, thanks.

I know what a contrail is and I also know what a chemtrail is.

About 8 or 9 years ago my neighbor and I were sitting out in my backyard having coffee. We were just taking life easy and talking about whatever came up. He asked me what I thought about chemtrails. I didn't know what they were.

As we talked we watched various sized jetliners on their East West flights. They are a common sight here in Reno, NV being right in line with SFO, OAK and SAC and SJC. As we watched this one big silver jet had a slightly wider contrail than the others. We watched it come towards us from the West, go overtop and fly East towards Fallon Naval Air Station for another five minutes.

Then as we both watched the contrail ceased and the plane banked to the left making a wide sweeping turn and headed West. As soon as it was leveled out the contrail started again.

This particular plane made four passes over the Washoe Valley spraying whatever it is that they spray in an East West pattern. Within three hours we had a 'cloud cover' over the entire valley.

Now was this something to do with weather control? I have no idea but I do know that American Airlines does not offer flights that circle Washoe Valley, nor does any other airline company.

So you folks who boast that you know there is no such thing as chemtrails continue on with your beliefs. I won't belittle you but I do know what Mike and I saw that morning. You may find it odd as I did. If you wish to see it for yourself all it is going to take is an open mind and some time watching the sky.

It's not so much the contrails, but what was causing them. There were dozens of fighter jets all over northern Ohio that day. Some of the callers to the show reported that fighter jets were scrambled out of Wright-Patterson AFB and Youngstown Reserve AFB. Both are a couple hundred miles from the Lake Erie shoreline. The jets were also being refueled in mid-air.

The commander from Youngstown said they routinely conduct exercises over the lake. Well I have lived in the same city for all of my 30 years and the only time I've seen fighter jets was for fly-over's and 9/11. I saw several on the day in question.

These were not commercial jets either. Commercial jets cannot execute near 90 degree turns and sharp increases in altitude. Since I have rarely seen or heard fighter jets, I was amazed as to how loud they were.

Interesting side note to the story, apparently there were UFO sightings the same day.
