You have to consider that if the energy systems to travel light years were weaponized that they would make nukes look like firecrackers.

Certainly the head of Skunk Works should know.
But realizing that takes in SG-1 . . . is kind of mind boggling.
If we have this fabulous technology why are we about to design a new H-bomb ?
There wouldn't be a need for a new bomb.
Assuming we are talking about directed energy, 'death rays', why aren't we using them?
Sure would come in handy in Iraq, Afghanistan.
