I have also come to view the Bible as a historical document of sorts. Everything from thousands of years ago is still with us today. Everything. God told Jesus to get His rear end down here to straighten things out. Well, it went from zero to 50-50. We still have a pagan religion on the rise called environmentalism. Jesus must confront those gods for the godless. Maybe its our job to help Him out?
Certainly we are called to do good and work for the good of Christ's Kingdom--which will end up the ONLY Kingdom.
However, I believe there are lots of issues, contexts, scenarios in these END TIMES which will be God's ball game alone--other than, perhaps, for prayer on our part--the amazing way He allows us to participate in many grand things.
Certainly I wouldn't hesitate to work in behalf of good and God's Kingdom in any way I could. I just think that a lot of things will be taken out of our hands and we'll be given moment instructions by Holy Spirit in the incredible dramas to unfold in the coming 1-25 years or so.
