Ouch. I'm so glad you're getting therapy though, tillacum. My husband is going to physical therapy today for his back and I know the therapists have really helped me in the past with my ankle.
I had a letter to the editor in the paper Monday about Hillary, big oil and how she wants to take their profits and socialism. There is another letter by a well known writer in today's paper about how the country is well headed toward socialism.
DeMint said that in the late 70's or early 80's, Reagan said the country was headed toward socialism. I didn't see it then but sure do now.
The chair's essay today is just a taste of what's to come. Reduce our productivity in this country (which the Democrats seem intent on doing) and increase reliance on goverment entitlement programs (which both parties seem intent on doing), and dilute our culture with unchecked illegal immigration and I just don't see any way that America can survive financially.
Europe has done all of the things mentioned above and they are in a death struggle. One in 6 people in the EU live below the poverty level. Women aren't having enough children to produce a population which will work, pay taxes and support the socialist/entitlement program.
And I don't see any politians having the guts to say what needs to be said or take entitlement programs away from us.
Given my age and physical condition, I could use some 'Butt Lifting' therapy. I didn't know they could do 'that' with therapy, I thought you had to have surgury.
Stick with the program, Dear, the PT will make you 'whole' again.

sorry for the hic cup. The wireless system here does that sometimes.
The doc seems to think I have a lot of stress and wants me to go see some people about grief counseling. Apparently he feels I am internalizing my mom's death or something.
Sigh. I am not one to like doing this kind of stuff, but my BP needs to come down so I guess I will go.
My BP was for many years low. MIL moved in and it fluctuated.
It's now considered stage one hypertension, but I know it could be lower without all the stress.
How about you and I do a little yoga or Tai Chi?
Stress Relief: Yoga, Meditation, and Other Relaxation Techniques
Seriously, my 70 year old aunt does Tai Chi and has wanted me to do it, too. Normally she is a high-stressed person ,but since her doing Tai Chi I have seen an enormous amount of mellowing.
Those nutcases (demonrats) have lost their collective minds.
Seems to me there is nothing in the Constitution that says the President can't have his say about the goofy laws these jerks want to pass. But then, whoever said I could read?
Jane, as unpleasant as it may be to you, you paid the Dr to give you advice. Why pay the guy if you're not going to follow his advice?
Go see the counselor and see if you can get the pb down.
And good for you for watching it.
I remember years ago when mom was not well. Of course, I took it hard. I had a friend tell me, lysie, take the world off your shoulders. Almost immediately I felt my chest (diaphram) relaxed and breathing normally. I thought I had everything under control..not so..
Take the world off your shoulder, my friend. ((C)) , but never give up the fight. ;-)
Any change in the forecast for the weekend? Dang! I hope it's decent for your FReeper get together.
I think I'll plug my nose with cotton swabs. LOL

I forgot what station , but, last night I watched a program about Reggie White. Lots of video with Brett and Reggie....Good show!!
And of course, I thought of you.....
One of your other posts..re: Progresso soup. I'm sure it's not WW approved, but, I love Italian Wedding Soup. Absolutely love it...when I'm off Atkins.
For #1 son's birthday last week I took him to Lambeau field and we did the official "stadium tour" and also toured the Packer hall of fame. We are both totally psyched for the upcoming season, and very happy Brett is back.:)
Uhmmmmm...shall I comment...nah...I will refrain from hitting this one out of the park....and just issue a no comment.
